Calling all school caterers! Did you know a significant 70% of children want to see more vegan and vegetarian meals on their school menu, according to new research*.
The poll, commissioned by Linda McCartney Foods, quizzed 1000 children between the ages of 8-16. It discovered that 44% of school pupils have tried to cut meat from their diet, and 10% already live a meat-free lifestyle. As a result, the pollsters concluded that “schools are under more pressure than ever to include more options on the lunch menu.”
