British Tomato Fortnight – Recipes to inspire
Established in 1997, the British Tomato Growers’ Association champions the British tomato and represents commercial growers in the UK. Led by a board of directors with representatives from across the industry, their work raises awareness of Britain’s tasty tomatoes and showcases the fruit in all its glory!
From spreading the word about health benefits to explaining the sustainability of supply, their aim is simple: encourage more consumers to buy British tomatoes and support local growers.
And with the British tomato season running from March to October, there’s plenty of time to indulge in the tasty all-round superfood.
