50g carrot, peeled and chopped
50g red onion, peeled and chopped
50g celery, chopped
20g mushroom, washed and sliced
2g bay leaf
100ml red wine
75g Essential Cuisine No1 Beef Gravy Mix
5g garlic, peeled and chopped
- If using, roast the meat in the pan. Remove and set aside to rest. In the roasting tray, add the vegetables, peppercorns and herbs. Fry for 2-3 minutes until starting to colour. Deglaze with the wine and reduce until almost gone.
- Mix the water with the Essential Cuisine No1 Beef Gravy Mix. Add to the pan, whisk in and bring to a simmer for 2 minutes. Strain and serve.
