What's In Season - September!
Essential Cuisine are proud to be partnering with Love British Food for the second year running, to celebrate British Food and Drink Fortnight (19th September - 4th October) - an initiative that is so close to our hearts as a British manufacturer of high quality stocks and sauces.
Love British Food work to encourage retailers and caterers to responsibly source food for our schools, hospitals and food outlets, with the aim to make British food their preferred supplier of choice.
Based in Winsford, Cheshire, we pride ourselves on supporting caterers and chefs to develop innovative menus, utilising locally grown, in-season ingredients that are not only more sustainable, but also offer great value.
This event gives everyone the opportunity to come together to promote the benefits of sourcing local, seasonal produce. The following recipes pay homage to some of the nations favourite dishes and some contemporary choices, all utilising in-season ingredients this September that prove just how versatile, tasty and cost effective local produce can be!
