
It’s no surprise that younger people's taste pallets are becoming more advanced. With both restaurants and the high street offering more choice than ever before, the younger generation are getting far more sophisticated when it comes to flavours of the world.
This shift has given caterers in the education sector an amazing opportunity to experiment with their menus, with many already injecting a fusion of flavours into their lunchtime offerings. From moreish tacos to tasty noodles, these quick, oriental dishes lend themselves well to "food-to-go” formats, meaning they can be pre-packed and ready to go (and more nutritionally balanced than a sandwich!).
This way of eating also helps to reduce crowds and queues along with giving individuals the flexibility on where they would like to eat, whether this be outside or in a socially distanced area in the canteen.
