Venetian Crab Gnocchi

Ingredients...

5tbsp olive oil

1 medium onion, finely diced

2 garlic cloves, grated

Chilli flakes to taste

90g Essential Cuisine Lobster Sauce Base

20g Essential Cuisine Aromatic Base

Knob of butter

Handful of flat leaf parsley, finelychopped

500g white crab meat

1kg La Tua Gnocchi

Method...

  1. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan over a medium heat.Sweat the onion and garlic for five minutes or until soft.

  2. Add the chilli flakes, the Essential Cuisine Lobster Sauce Base and Essential Cuisine Aromatic Base.

  3. Bring to a simmer and reduce, then add the butter.

  4. Boil the Gnocchi in a pan of salted water for three minutes or until they start to rise to the surface. Drain and keep warm.

  5. Stir the parsley and crab meat into the sauce 6. Pour over the gnocchi and serve.
