On the 4th of November, thousands of people will be celebrating Diwali, or as it is often called the 'Festival of Lights' or the 'festival of flavours'. Diwali takes place each year after the conclusion of harvest and to coincide with the new moon between mid-October and mid-November.
For the last 30 years, LACA’s National School Meals Week (NSMW) has been raising awareness about the importance of nutritious school meals. Starting on the 8th of November, each day has a different theme, helping school caterers deliver a variety of flavours and styles throughout the week.
