British stocks and sauces manufacturer, Essential Cuisine are hosting their charity advent calendar for the sixth consecutive year, with a feast of exclusive prizes to be won, from chef goodies to the latest tech!
Following two rounds of recipe creation and deliberation, the Craft Guild of Chefs has announced that twelve chefs are still in the running to be crowned the National Chef of the Year winner. Throughout the day, the finalists have received a celebratory bottle of champagne, courtesy of Hallgarten & Novum Wines and Champagne Collet confirming their place in the final which will take place at the University of West London on Tuesday, 10th October, 2023.
Essential Cuisine are delighted to have taken part and sponsored the 'Inter College Culinary Challenge' that took place on Tuesday 20th June 2023 at City College Southampton in their industry-standard training kitchens and Aspire Restaurant.
Earlier this month, The British Culinary Federation held its 'Chef of the Year' final at the Birmingham College of Food. After the initial judging, thirteen competitors were selected and asked to submit menu consisting of a starter which had to include fish or shellfish and a dessert using maple syrup courtesy of Canadian Maple Syrup.
