At Essential Cuisine, sustainability is more than a commitment, it’s a core part of who we are. As proud members of the Solina Group, we are fully aligned with their ambitious sustainability journey, which is built around three key pillars:
For the Planet, For the People, and For the Customer.
From reducing our environmental footprint and promoting responsible sourcing, to fostering a safe and inclusive workplace, we are actively contributing to a more sustainable food system.
Together with Solina, we are working to create flavour solutions that not only meet the highest culinary standards but also support a healthier planet and society.
Our Curry Onion Sauce is sourced from Solions, a trusted partner committed to sustainable agriculture and responsible sourcing.
For years, Solions has led the way in reducing environmental impact across their operations. From their fields in Valencia, they implement forward-thinking practices such as renewable energy use, biomass integration, and ecosystem-conscious farming.
Their dedication to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles ensures that every onion we use is grown with care: for the planet, for people, and for the future.

Our Signature Range is produced at our sister factory in Finland. Throughout the production process, sustainability is at the heart of our signature range. At this facility, waste materials are transferred to the on-site biogas plant, where it’s converted into renewable energy to power the factory. The by-product is used as fertiliser by local farmers, creating a truly circular process. Our FSC-certified 1 litre cartons support responsible forest management worldwide, helping protect forests for future generations.
