300g Essential Cuisine Asian Master Base
300ml water
350g dark brown sugar
8 garlic cloves, peeled and finely chopped
50g root ginger, finely grated
50ml sesame oil
100ml tomato ketchup
Large pinch of ground black pepper
Juice of a lime
1. Place all ingredients in a sauce pan and mix together
2. Bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring regularly
3. Allow to cool & use as required as a marinade or dipping sauce
