

2Ltr premade and chilled Essential Cuisine Crème Anglaise
100ml Whole Milk(optional)
20 Slices of thick sliced bread
50g Brown sugar
20 Slices Streaky bacon
200ml Maple syrup
10g Essential Cuisine Street Food Chef Peanut Free Satay Style Seasoning
4 Pre poached pears and sliced
30ml Oil
4g Icing sugar
1. Soak the bread in the chilled pre-made Crème Anglaise. Add more whole milk if needed.
2. Place the streaky bacon in a pre-heated oven of 180° and cook until crispy.
3. Whist the bacon is cooking, heat a frying pan with the oil in and start frying French toast until golden brown. In a separate pan heat the maple syrup and the Street Food Chef Peanut Free Satay Style Seasoning. Do this over a light heat and keep warm for serving the French toast.
4. Top the French toast with the brown sugar and grill to form the Crème Brûlée crust on the toast.
5. Once the French toast is cooked and bacon build the dish by topping the toast with the bacon, hot maple, sliced pre poached pears and icing sugar.
Chefs Tip: Swap maple syrup for miso chocolate sauce or miso caramel.
