Helping to Prevent a Crisis this Christmas
11th December 2015
Christmas 2015 will see Essential Cuisine again proudly supporting the national charity for single homeless people, Crisis
, who campaign for change and are dedicated to ending homelessness. Crisis understand how Christmas can be an extremely challenging time for people cut off from family and home, therefore they endeavour to provide companionship and solace at times of difficulty.
Over the festive period Crisis run temporary centres that enable homeless people to have shelter, food and company at one of the most pressured and family based celebrations of the year. We will be donating our Chicken
Gravies along with our Beef
Stocks which will all be used to make delicious meals for homeless people over Christmas.
There are plenty of ways to support Crisis over Christmas including; volunteering, fundraising and campaigning. So please do not hesitate to help out in anyway you can over the festive period. It really does make a difference as Ian Richards, Head of Crisis at Christmas, said “Without the generous support of donors, volunteers and partners, Crisis at Christmas would not be possible. We would like to thank Essential Cuisine for their donation of cooking stock and gravy powder. This support will help us to provide a lifeline for our guests this Christmas, and help them take their first steps out of homelessness.”
