Veal Demi-Glace Mix
This Veal Demi-Glace mix has been made with the finest ingredients. Thickened slightly for your convenience, it is easy to use and produces an excellent cooking, braising and sauce base.
This indispensable stock base is convenient and easy to use. Once made, it can be used as you would a freshly made stock, has superior holding qualities and is freeze-thaw stable.
Ingredients when reconstituted:
Veal Stock (Water, Veal, Onion, Carrot Extract, Tomato, Celery Extract, Herbs, Spices, Garlic), Beef Stock (Water, Beef Stock, Beef Extract), Modified Tapioca Starch, Wheat Flour, Salt, Glucose Syrup, Flavourings (contain Egg), Yeast Extracts, Colour (Plain Caramel), Maltodextrin, Sugar, Vegetable Oil.

This is our alternative to the Chef Jus de Veau product (our Premier Veal Jus is a very different product).
For a more refined sauce base why not try mixing our Classic Thickened Veal Stock with our Premier Veal Jus (make up both products independently and then you blend in the appropriate proportions for you).
Similarly you could blend it with our Premier Chicken Jus or Premier Lamb Jus.
For a great non-specific savoury base, try a 50/50 blend of Thickened Veal Stock and Chicken Demi-glace – simply combine the mixes and cook up together.
